Genre: Indie pop
As Isaac is Zachary Tate Smith, Rachel Austin Kelly, and Kristian Croxall. Meleah Smith is their manager at home and on the road.
Nathan Shirai (mandolin, trumpet, percussion, and any instrument we throw at him) and Stephen Humphries (hammered dulcimer and percussion) often accompany the band and are affectionately referred to as band cousins.
As Isaac writes songs for the church but their desire is to engage people with the story of life and truth.
As Isaac has toured around England, Ireland, and Wales and have played for Precept Transform student conferences in the United States and Canada. In their home town of Chattanooga they've played all over in churches, coffeehouses, private parties and galas. But they also have gotten around to South Carolina, Atlanta, Alabama and Mississippi, as far west as New Mexico, and as far north as Chicago, Sheboygan, and Rochester.
As Isaac has opened for Kristian Stanfill, Audrey Assad, The Vespers, and Nashville singer-songwriters like Christopher Williams, Eric Peters, and Brady Toops. They were a featured artist at the internationally award winning Riverbend Festival.
They serve weekly at their church Calvary Chapel Chattanooga in youth ministry, where they all met, and where the band originally formed.
